Hey everyone! I've got a section in my garden that's just been a mess of weeds due to poor soil. My partner recently helped me clear it out, and right now it appears to be mostly clay. We've added a drainage hole filled with stones and mixed in some sand. I was considering adding some topsoil, but I read that it might be too nutrient-rich for wildflowers. What do you think? Should I add something else or leave the soil as it is? Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks!

You're lucky to have a clay area for wildflowers to thrive! I tried removing grass from a patch in my yard to plant wildflowers, but it ended up being too nutrient-rich and didn't work out. So fingers crossed for your garden! Just make sure to clear those weeds out!
It sounds like your soil situation might actually be perfect for wildflowers! Many of them thrive in low-nutrient conditions, so you might not need to add anything at all.
