I made a deal with my husband a few months ago to create a DIY standing desk from an old dinner table, but six months later, nothing has changed and I'm done waiting. Actually, I got into a bit of an argument about it because I really want my home office to look nice! I finally told him I'd rather just buy my own desk since I don't care about costs anymore. I'm determined to show him that I can do better. So, could anyone recommend the best standing desk or frame I can get for about $600?

Check out Costco; they have some nice options under $600. I bought mine there and it’s fantastic!
You should check out the Autonomous Smart Desk. It's within your budget, and I've had really good luck with it. You can find it [here](https://www.autonomous.ai/standing-desks/autonomous-desk-eureka). Totally worth the investment!
How’s it holding up over time? Any issues?
I feel that! DIY is exciting, but it definitely loses its charm over time. I bought the same desk, and it's been my best decision. No more waiting around for projects to be completed!
I've had a great experience with my Uplift desk. It's durable and comes with a ton of options to fit your needs. You can definitely get one for under $600!
Which version did you get? Any features you love?
Honestly, it sounds like you're ready for a hassle-free setup. Check out the Solo Ryter or Smartdesk DIY for a solid frame. Just choose a wood top that matches your style, and you'll have a great desk without any headaches.
You can also grab the TOPSKY Dual Motor Electric desk; it’s super sturdy and customizable. They sell various tops, or you can DIY it with something like butcher block! Check it out [here](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08C2LC3H2?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share).
Any recommendations for a wooden top? I’m curious!
Looking for a lower height range for that! Has anyone seen similar options?
