I'm sealing off a room with 6 mil plastic due to some potential lead exposure from work being done. I want to know what tape would be best for sealing the plastic to the walls without damaging the paint underneath. Any suggestions?

If you're looking for something durable, I’d recommend using Gaffers Tape. It sticks well and won't leave a mess when you remove it, especially on painted surfaces.
Also, remember to manage air flow by creating negative pressure in the room. Using a fan to exhaust air outside can really help with safety.
Can you clarify your setup a bit? It sounds like you’re sealing a doorway. If it leads directly outside and you don’t have any other vents or windows, just placing a fan at the door might do the trick!
