I'm on the hunt for a reliable double-sided tape that's super thin—like the thickness of standard scotch tape. I'm curious if the Scotch double-sided tape would be a good option, or if there's something better out there. What do you guys recommend?

If you're looking for something super strong and almost permanent, Alien tape is a great option. Just know that it’s quite versatile!
It really depends on what you need it for! Are you just sticking paper together or do you need something stronger, like for wood? If the tape is going to hold something up, you’ll want to think about the weight too. There are definitely more robust options out there.
I’m actually using it to re-stick velcro to plastic, and I need it to withstand some pull. So, yeah, the usage really matters!
3M’s VHB tape is what I used once to attach an aluminum sign to a steel frame. It held up like a champ!
For a solid choice, I’d recommend the 3M window insulation tape. It sticks to almost anything, but just be careful—it can leave a bit of a residue.
Exactly! Not all double-sided tapes are created equal. Some are designed for light tasks, while others can handle heavy-duty stuff.
