What’s the Best Tool for Adding Texture to Oak: Dremel or Die Grinder?

Hey everyone, I'm looking to add some surface texture to oak wood and I want it to be a bit efficient without going overboard. I'm considering my options – should I go for a Dremel or opt for a heavy-duty die grinder with variable speed settings? Has anyone here worked with oak or other hardwoods for similar projects? Cheers!

I've had great results with Arbortech attachments on my angle grinder. They can be a bit pricey, but they're definitely worth it for adding texture.

A Dremel is basically a smaller version of a die grinder. They work similarly, so it really depends on how much surface area you need to cover and how much detail you want to achieve. Plus, if you're comfortable using one over the other, that matters too.

If you're looking for efficiency, try using an angle grinder with a Kutzall disc. It can make the process a lot quicker!
