What’s the Best Tub Brand & Material for My Bathroom Renovation?

Asked By RandomUser42 On

I'm renovating my second-floor bathroom and I need some advice on choosing a brand and material for the bathtub. We've previously had a good experience with Kohler, so I'm leaning towards one of their tubs, either acrylic or cast iron. Our last tub was cast iron, and I know there's enough support for a heavy tub. Would love to hear any other recommendations or experiences!

When we were remodeling, we replaced our old cast iron tub with an American Standard Americast tub. It’s made of enameled steel, so it’s much lighter and easier to work with, especially if you're doing it yourself! Just a heads up, it’s a standard alcove tub though, not sure if it meets your needs exactly!

Do you have a link to the tub you went with? I’m actually looking for a standard alcove tub for my space.
