I'm trying to figure out the best type of dryer vent. I've come across several options but I'm not sure which one is the best choice for my situation.

I’ve seen those periscope-style vents too, and they’re fully metal, which is a plus! If the space you’re working with is tight, these can be really helpful. Just make sure they’re installed correctly to ensure good airflow.

The best type of dryer vent really depends on your specific setup. Ideally, you’d want to use rigid metal ducting whenever possible. If that’s not feasible, then go for flexible metal. Just steer clear of foil, plastic, or PVC materials since they can be a fire hazard.
