What’s the Best Veggie for a New Gardener Next Season?

Last year, my son and I had a small 4x8 garden where we planted squash, peppers, and a lot of tomatoes. While the tomatoes went crazy, producing hundreds of them, the squash and peppers didn't perform so well - we barely got a few. Now, I'm wondering what would be the next easiest vegetable to grow that can keep the excitement going for my son this season. Any suggestions?

You might want to try growing green or yellow pole beans! Once they start producing, they can give you a ton of beans, and they freeze really well too. Plus, they taste way better than what you get at the store!

I always thought beans were tricky to grow. Maybe I need to give them another shot!
