I'm a bit confused about how often to water Chinese spinach amaranth. Should I be watering it daily, or is a couple of times a week enough? I have a shady patio, but it gets really hot here, so I'm wondering how that affects the watering needs.

From my experience, amaranth is pretty forgiving with watering, but they do thrive better with consistent moisture. You can let it dry out for a day without issues, but if you want them to really pop, daily watering or nearly daily is the way to go. Just keep an eye on the soil to see how dry it gets, especially in that heat!
