What’s the Best Way to Batch Create Parts Efficiently?

I'm working on a screening panel and need to make several dozen identical pieces sized at 14"x1.5"x1". I'm looking for the most efficient method to produce these while ensuring accuracy. I had in mind clamping multiple parts together as a block and routing them using a guide fence, but I'm open to other ideas. I'll be using Western Red Cedar that's already been milled to size. Any suggestions?

Definitely a good idea to use the dado blade along with a crosscut sled for greater accuracy. It simplifies the cutting process and saves you time. Plus, you can achieve really clean cuts!

Thanks for the confirmation! I really appreciate it.

You might want to handle dimensions in a few stages: first, get the initial dimension in the planer as you mill, then rip down the second dimension on the table saw, and finally, use a sled for the length cuts. It streamlines the entire process!

For those larger cuts, I'd recommend using a dado blade on your table saw instead of routing. You can get the full depth in one go, which makes it way easier. Just set up a crosscut sled with some stop blocks tailored for your parts, and you'll be all set to start cutting!
