What’s the Best Way to Build a Base for a 350 lb Above Ground Pond?

I'm planning to set up a pond that weighs about 350 lbs when filled, and it's going to be exposed to sun and water. I was thinking about just screwing together some layers of 2x4s to create a sturdy base, around 28x28x18 inches. Is that a good idea, or is there a better method to ensure it doesn't collapse? I'd love any suggestions!

That’s not a huge pond size wise; remember that water weighs 8 lbs per gallon. As long as you keep the support strong, you’ll be okay!

350 lbs might sound heavy, but for lumber, it’s manageable. As long as you build it with proper support, you should be fine! Just make sure the structure is solid to avoid any mishaps.

So, could I just grab a pre-made table from Amazon instead?

Yeah, but better safe than sorry, right? ?
