I'm starting to get into caring for succulents and want to know the best practices for keeping them healthy. What kind of soil should I use, how often should I water them, and are there any specific tips for different types?

I've found that a mix of potting soil and sand works wonders for drainage. And remember to give them plenty of sunlight – they love that! Some types even need direct sun for a few hours a day to thrive.
For succulents, you'll want a well-draining soil, ideally a cactus mix. Water them once every couple of weeks, but adjust based on the season; they need less water in the winter.
Totally agree! I also suggest checking if the top inch of soil is dry before watering again. Overwatering is the biggest mistake with succulents.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely keep an eye on their sunlight needs.
