What’s the Best Way to Clean Grout from Slate Tiles?

I'm struggling with cleaning the grout from my slate tiles. The grout is deep in the grooves, and I've been using green scouring pads, but it's turning into a disaster. Is there an easier method to tackle this?

Thanks for the tip! I'll give it a shot tomorrow. Honestly, I'm feeling a bit down about this whole grout situation. I wanted to share a picture for advice but found out this group doesn't allow it. I'll keep you posted on how it goes!

You might want to try using vinegar alongside a toothbrush! Just make sure to rinse the vinegar off with water frequently and avoid letting it sit on the grout for too long. It can help lift the grime without damaging the tile.
