What’s the Best Way to Completely Eradicate Thorny Weeds from My Paved Area?

Hey everyone! I have a paved area of about 20m² that's being taken over by thorny weeds every year. I'm looking for a nuclear option to completely wipe them out, and since there are no gardens or plant life on the adjoining properties, I'm not worried about contamination. What's the most effective method to destroy all the plant life for good? Any advice would be really appreciated!

If it’s a paved area, I’d recommend using a pressure washer to blast away those weeds, especially in the cracks between the pavers. After that, you can fill the gaps with polymeric sand or mortar to help prevent them from coming back. It’s a pretty straightforward fix!

If you’re looking for something stronger, concentrated glyphosate is the closest you’ll get to a nuclear option these days. Just be careful with that stuff; it's super harsh on the environment. Manual removal is a pain, but it’s the safest long-term option for nature. Just keep at it, and consider using landscape fabric to block regrowth later on!

You could also consider boiling water mixed with vinegar to kill the weeds. It’s non-toxic and won’t harm the surrounding area. Just pour it directly on the weeds, and it should do the trick without any nasty chemicals!
