What’s the best way to cut UPVC windowsills cleanly?

I'm a total beginner and really struggling with cutting UPVC windowsills. I've heard about using an angle grinder, but I'm not sure if that's the right tool for clean cuts. What do you all recommend? Any tips would be really helpful!

For clean cuts on UPVC, a fine-tooth saw is your best bet. It'll give you a smoother finish compared to an angle grinder, which usually just grinds and makes a mess. Just take your time for the best results!

Yeah, I agree! A fine-toothed hand saw or even a miter saw would be ideal, just make sure to cut slowly to avoid burning the material.

Definitely use a high-t tooth saw blade, preferably on a true saw. Just remember to go slow while cutting to keep it neat and tidy!

Angle grinders aren't great for clean cuts; they can cause a lot of rough edges. Instead, I'd suggest using a hacksaw, cutting steadily to prevent the PVC from heating up and deforming.
