What’s the best way to deal with an outlet behind an exhaust pipe?

I just moved into a new house and found out that the outlet for my range hood is located directly behind the exhaust pipe. This makes it impossible to plug in the power cord. The contractor I hired hasn't been helpful at all and has left a lot of work unfinished. Do I need to relocate the outlet completely, or are there other options that could work?

Relocating the outlet would definitely be the most effective solution. However, you might want to try using a 90° plug adapter as a temporary fix. It can help make that connection without needing to move the outlet right away.

I think a picture would be super helpful for figuring this out! If you can share one, it could give more insight into how tight the space is and what solutions might work better.
