What’s the Best Way to Dispose of Japanese Beetles?

I'm wondering what everyone does with a container full of Japanese beetles after they've been trapped in soapy water. What's your go-to method for disposing of them? Looking for some suggestions or recommendations! Thanks!

I heard blending them with a splash of tequila is one way to go! Just make sure they're all dead first, haha!

If you have friends with chickens, they might appreciate the meal! Just rinse them well first. Otherwise, I usually wait until I’m sure they’re dead and then dump them in the compost or a corner of the yard. A little soap isn’t harmful, and they’ll just break down over time.

Yeah, I did that too! It’s amazing how well bugs decompose in the compost.

Honestly, you can just toss them in the woods— no big deal since they're organic. They'll decompose naturally!
