I have a hole along my baseboard that's too big for caulk. What are some effective methods to cover it up? Check out the image here for reference: https://imgur.com/a/EPZMzbz

You could create a little box around the hole using flat boards and then finish it off with some quarter round molding to give it a polished look. It'll cover the hole and add a nice touch to your baseboard.
One option is to use expanding foam, like Great Stuff. Once it's cured, you can trim it flush with the floor and paint it to match. That way, it blends in nicely!
That sounds like a solid plan! Just make sure to wear gloves when applying it, as it can get messy.
