I'm looking to finish a 500-foot driveway. There's already a solid base with fabric and recycled concrete aggregate laid down, but I want to top it off nicely. I'm considering a few options:
- **Road crush**: It's cheap and easy to install, but I've heard it can lead to weeds and rutting.
- **Asphalt millings**: Similar to road crush but compacts better. However, I'm concerned about health issues since it might track into the house.
- **Full asphalt**: This is the most expensive option, but I know it looks great.
Given that I live in an area with harsh winters, what would you recommend? Any other materials I should consider?

For my side driveway, I used a combination of 57 stone and crushed gravel on a base similar to yours. It's been 7 years and I just put down a fresh topcoat of crushed gravel this spring. It’s held up well!

Do you have a lot of weed issues with that setup?
