I'm trying to install a shower screen and accidentally left a dent while drilling pilot holes into the metal channel. I need to straighten out the left side that attaches to the wall, and I can remove it if necessary. Any tips on how to even it out? Thanks in advance!

If the channel is U-shaped, you could also press it against a sturdy flat surface and then tap it with a rubber mallet. This method might help keep its shape while you even out that dent.
It sounds like you're screwing the channel to the wall, right? If so, the screws should pull the channel tight against the tile and might fix the dent. If that doesn't work, you could take the channel off, lay it on a flat surface, and gently use a hammer and punch to flatten it out a bit. Just be careful not to overdo it!

Just make sure when you hammer it, you support the channel well so it doesn't bend in other places!
