I have an indoor closet door that's made of cardboard, and my kids accidentally loosened the screws of the hinge by slamming it shut. When I removed the hinges to fix it, I found that the screw holes are stripped and full of cardboard fluff. I tried using longer screws, but since the door is hollow inside, that didn't work. Is there a DIY solution to repair it without having to buy a new door?

I hate to say it, but it might be tougher than it seems. Some people have had luck using glue-soaked toilet paper to fill the holes. It might actually end up stronger once dried. But, if it doesn't work, getting a new door might be your best bet in the long run.
