What’s the Best Way to Handle Stubborn Oil Stains on Shirts?

I recently had a chat with a friend about the troubles of tough oil stains on T-shirts, specifically on a grey Comfort Colors shirt she has. She's already tried dish soap, OxiClean, and even bleaching, but none of those worked. Apparently, this issue is common with that brand and color. I'm thinking of trying to dye the whole shirt darker to hide the stain, but I had a wild idea of intentionally applying oil to the rest of the shirt to match the color. What do you all think? Any better solutions out there? If not, how would I go about applying oil evenly, and which type should I use?

If you're dealing with oil stains, I recommend trying Lestoil. It's been a lifesaver for me! Sometimes you need to use it more than once, but I've never failed to get rid of stains with it. Plus, it works on other tough stains too!

This sounds great! I hadn't heard of Lestoil before, but it seems like a solid option for those annoying stains. It might just save my old tees from being retired!

I've thought about your idea of applying oil to the shirt, but I've never actually done it. It sounds like a creative solution, though! Would love to hear how it goes if you try it out.
