I recently had a ceramic house number crafted, but I'm unsure of the best way to hang it. It has two holes at the top, and I initially thought about screwing it into place since there's wood lining the brick outside my house. However, the back isn't completely flat, which makes me worry about it staying secure. I also considered using garden twine to hang it from a screw on the wall, but I'm concerned about how it would hold up during extreme weather conditions. Is jute twine strong enough for this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Instead of twine, I’d recommend using wire or a little piece of chain. It’ll be way sturdier and hold up better against the elements, unlike twine which might wear out.
Screwing it in should work just fine, even if the back isn’t totally flat. Just make sure to use wall anchors if you’re going into brick, and it should hold up well!
Yeah, using anchors is key, especially on a brick surface!
Definitely watch out for anything that deteriorates in harsh weather. If the ceramic number falls off after a year, that's not what you want!

Good point! Twine can disintegrate over time with rain and sun.
