What’s the Best Way to Manage Your Wedding Ring While Woodworking?

I got married about a year ago, and I'm still looking for the best way to handle my wedding ring while I'm woodworking. I always take it off because I want to avoid damaging it or, worse, risking losing a finger.

Does anyone have any creative ideas or solutions for what to do with their rings or jewelry while working?

When I'm woodworking, I usually clip my wedding ring to a small carabiner on my belt loop. It's safe and I don't have to worry about losing it. Plus, it’s easy to access later without losing it in my pockets!

Nice! I might try that. I often forget where I put my ring when I take it off.

I bought some silicone rings for when I'm working. They’re low-risk and I don’t have to worry about damaging my original ring. When I'm not wearing them, I just keep my wedding ring in a little catchall tray I made. Super handy!

It's definitely wise to be cautious! I used to wear a steel ring, but I was terrified of hurting myself, so I switched to matching tattoo rings with my wife. They’ve held up great for five years now, despite everyone saying they wouldn’t.

That's a cool idea! Tattoo rings seem like a great way to avoid that risk while still showing your commitment.
