What’s the best way to mount a 1.3m x 0.7m MDF board to a wall?

I have an old whiteboard that no longer has its frame, and I'm thinking about mounting it directly on the wall since it's about 4mm thick. Drilling some holes seems like the simplest solution, but I'm curious if anyone has better ideas for securing it?

Have you thought about using JB Weld? It's super strong and should keep that board in place without any issues. Just make sure to apply it properly. You won't have to worry about it budging after that!

Yeah, that stuff is solid! Just a heads up though, you might want to hold it in place for a bit while it sets.

You might consider using wall anchors if you're not going to screw it directly into a stud. Just putting some of those in each corner could provide good support. It’s definitely a solid method to ensure it stays secure!

Honestly, I would suggest just using screws to attach it directly to the wall. I've done that with whiteboards before, and it works great! If you're worried about aesthetics, consider using mirror clips or screws with larger heads to give it a clean look. Wall anchors would help too if you're concerned about stability.
