Hey everyone! I recently built a kegerator that weighs about 150 lbs and measures 2x2x3 feet. I need to figure out a way to move it up and down the stairs by myself on a regular basis. While it's not excessively heavy, it's too bulky for me to carry comfortably. I'm considering a stairclimber handtruck, but I'm unsure if those can be used effectively to bring heavy objects down the stairs as well as up. I'm open to DIY solutions or purchasing a product that can make this process smoother. Any suggestions? Thanks!

What about those chair lifts designed for the elderly? I once tried one at my grandma's place with my 235 lbs, and it moved smoothly! You might find one for a decent price at an estate sale or online. Just a thought!
Have you thought about getting a large enough hand truck or cart? A sturdy one with a good ratchet strap can really make moving it easier. Just make sure it has big wheels for better traction on stairs. They can handle both the ascent and descent pretty well!
By "large enough," do you mean in terms of wheel size? Bigger wheels would be ideal for tackling stairs, right?

Thanks for the idea! Although I've got two sets of stairs to deal with, so it might not be the best fit. But I see your point—thanks!
