I have a massive collection of sandpaper, including full size sheets, quarter sheets, belts in various sizes, and discs of different grits ranging from 24 to 3000. Currently, I just toss everything into a big plastic bin, which makes it a hassle to find what I need and to keep track of my inventory. I'm looking for simple and effective ideas for organizing my sandpaper without spending ages on it, like the lengthy DIY projects you see on YouTube. Any practical tips?

You might want to keep the bin but separate everything with zip lock bags inside. It helps keep things organized while still letting you use the bin!
For sheets, I use one of those accordion file folders. It keeps everything neat. I haven't had to deal much with belts and discs yet, but it seems manageable!
Multiple plastic drawers could do the trick! They let you organize by size and grit while keeping everything visible and accessible.
Consider using hanging file folders, similar to what offices use. They come with tabs for easy labeling of different grits. You could store them in a plastic file container or a small filing cabinet—one drawer for sheets and another for discs. For belts, you can hang them on rods or dowels; a simple setup works well!

That's exactly what I was thinking too! Hanging folders are a great way to keep things tidy!
