I recently got a manufactured home for my elderly mother, and it came in two separate pieces that were assembled on-site. While the walls and ceiling were properly sealed, I need to take care of the floor seam myself. I have some linoleum that matches, but I'm unsure how to proceed with the patching. Should I just use caulk and place the linoleum on top? Or would it be better to cut some small pieces of particle board to fill the gap? I want to ensure this lasts over time. You might want to consider using a low-profile floor transition. That seam is going to flex quite a bit with the weather changes, so keeping it simple is probably best. Just make sure whatever solution you choose can handle that movement!
