What’s the best way to remove nails from a tight space?

I'm trying to figure out the best tool to use for removing some nails in a tight area. I plan to cut the nails off and then reattach the plank. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

You might also try using dikes (wire cutters) to grab and pull the nails out. Seems simple but it works well if you can get a good grip.

Dikes? What's that? Just want to make sure I'm clear on what tool you're suggesting.

An angle grinder would definitely do the trick to cut them off quickly. If you have a hacksaw handy or a Dremel with a cutoff wheel, those could work too! Alternatively, you could just push the piece back on and screw it down instead of cutting, depending on how secure it needs to be.

That's a solid point! If I can avoid cutting, that might be the easier route.
