What’s the Best Way to Safely Remove Painter’s Tape from My Bathtub After Epoxy Painting?

Hey there! I've been reglazing my bathtub and used painter's tape to help apply some epoxy putty for a hole. Now, I'm trying to figure out the best method to remove the tape without chipping the paint or damaging the finish. I found some conflicting advice online; some suggest using warm soapy water, but the epoxy kit instructions warn against using water for three days after application. I'm curious if anyone has effective tips or methods to safely remove the tape. Thanks for your help!

Without seeing your photo, I'd suggest a careful approach. If you plan to sand the area anyway, you can lightly score around the tape edges with a utility knife to help it peel off cleanly. Just be gentle! After removing the outer tape, sand the edges subtly to keep everything smooth.
