Hey everyone! My 14-inch 20V trimmer has finally given up the ghost after a good run. I'm considering stepping up to the 60V attachment-capable trimmer, but since it would be my first tool on that platform, I'm not seeing any great deals to kick things off. Do you guys have any tips or leads on how I can dive into the 60V world without breaking the bank?

You're definitely on the right track! Those 60V tools are solid performers, even if some like the chainsaws feel a little cheap. But they really get the job done!
I got my 60V trimmer (DCST972X1) at Bomgaars for $259.99 with a single battery and charger, but I think there was a better deal this spring with a free extra battery. This model has been a game changer for me! I can tackle my yard on a single 3Ah battery and even handle the tougher parts when I grab a second battery. Plus, if you’re already invested in 20V tools, the 60V batteries are compatible with them too!

Absolutely! I have the same trimmer and love it! It's awesome for the yard and I can't wait to get those universal attachments like the gutter blower and snow shovel from Ryobi.
