What’s the Best Way to Use Mosquito Bits for My Plants?

I recently bought some Mosquito Bits because I found fungus gnats in a few of my potted plants, including my new Monstera Deliciosa. I know there are different methods for using the bits, but since I just watered my plants two days ago, I'm not sure if I should water them again. I'm also repotting my Monstera today, as she's been in the same plastic pot since I got her on Valentine's Day. Any tips?

I'd say you're a bit impatient! Fungus gnats are more annoying than harmful; they mainly eat decaying organic matter, not your live plants. If your soil is fine and the plant isn’t stressed, repotting might not be necessary right now. Just give it some time for the Mosquito Bits to work—Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis takes a bit to affect the gnats, so don't rush it.

I get that, but it’s a gift and I want it to thrive! Plus, I've heard gnats can munch on tender roots.
