Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on how to water my house plants efficiently. I live in a second-floor apartment and my neighbors downstairs have a yard, so I can't just take them outside to water and risk splashing water everywhere. When I try to water them inside, it turns into a whole process involving towels under the pots and I end up with soggy towels to deal with. Is there a simpler way to do this?

One easy solution is to get some trays to catch any excess water! You can use the 'water, wait, water' method where you water your plants a little bit, let them soak it up, and then give them more. That way, the water properly absorbs instead of just running straight through the soil. Trust me, trays make a huge difference!

Totally agree! I use a large Tupperware lid for my plants; it keeps any overflow from ruining my carpet. I also have a shallow Tupperware container for when I have a bunch of plants to water. It really helps!
