What’s the Best Whittling Knife for an Intermediate Carver?

I'm looking for a great whittling knife to gift my boyfriend for Christmas. We both enjoy whittling and currently have basic Flexcut sets, but they aren't the best. I'm aiming for something really nice, whether it's a full set or just one quality knife. I'm open to spending between $100 and $150, but I've only found suggestions for beginner knives. Any recommendations for brands or specific models that would be perfect for an intermediate carver?

I love my Pro Series Flexcut knives! They work great for me, but since you’re looking for something a bit higher quality, maybe check out their higher-end options. There are some really good full-sized handles available that could step up your carving game.

Have you looked into Deepwood knives? They offer some solid options, and you can even get just the blades if you like making your own handles. It could be a unique touch for your boyfriend’s setup!

You might want to check out the Mora 106. It’s a well-respected knife and pretty affordable too. It works well for whittling, especially if you're looking for something reliable that doesn't break the bank.
