What’s the Deal with Blue vs Silver POWERTEC Rails for Track Saws?

Hey everyone! I'm trying to figure out the differences between the blue and silver POWERTEC guide rails for Makita and Festool track saws. Home Depot doesn't have any reviews for the blue version, and Amazon mixes reviews for both, which makes it impossible to know what people think about each one. The POWERTEC website doesn't help much either since it describes them in pretty much the same way. By the way, just to clarify, I don't think I'm in the wrong place here—most guide rails from brands like Milwaukee, Makita, and Festool are compatible with my Milwaukee track saw. So, what are the trade-offs I might face if I go with the blue or silver POWERTEC rails?

Just a heads-up, the newer WEN tracks now work with the anti-tip feature too. I recently bought the Milwaukee M18 saw and paired it with those WEN tracks, and it's been working great! So, maybe check them out as another option.

From what I've gathered, the only notable difference with the Milwaukee saw tracks is that the anti-tip feature may not work quite right due to a slight difference in the groove. So, if you’re using Milwaukee's setup, just keep that in mind before you choose between those POWERTEC options.
