Hey everyone! I'm curious to hear your thoughts on DeWalt versus Flex tools. I've been eyeing Flex lately, mainly because of their vacuum design and portability, which seems way better than what DeWalt offers. I haven't used Flex tools before, but their 18 gauge nailer looks compact and versatile. What do you all think?

DeWalt has a pretty extensive lineup of vacuums, both cordless and corded. If the Flex vacuum is already appealing to you enough to consider their tools, you might be leaning towards them already!
I've got experience with both brands. I switched to Flex for nailers because frankly, DeWalt's weren't cutting it. The Flex Turbo Hammer drill has surpassed my old DeWalt in performance while being compact, which is a win for daily use. Plus, their batteries seem to last longer and come with solid chargers. The downside is there's a smaller range of tools available and less aftermarket support. Oh, and Flex batteries can fit into DeWalt tools with an adapter, but it's a one-way street. Anyway, DeWalt has its strong points too, but Flex is definitely changing the game for me!
I think the design of Flex tools is really slick! I haven’t explored much beyond their looks. But they're definitely eye-catching!
True that! The efficiency per amp-hour may vary since the voltages differ, but runtime should be similar, so make your choices based on power needs!
