What’s the Difference Between These Two Dewalt Socket Sets?

Hey everyone! I'm in the market for a socket set to use with my Dewalt impact driver, and I came across two sets that I'm trying to compare:

1. **DWMT74739** - [Check it out here](https://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-Impact-Socket-Metric-DWMT74739/dp/B01IFSX9M4/?th=1)
2. **DW22812** - [Here's the link](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00307F38O?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title)

The first set has 20 sockets and even includes a socket wrench, while the second set only has 8 sockets, but it's only a few bucks cheaper. Am I missing something? What would be the advantage of going with the smaller set? Thanks for any insights!

The bigger set is definitely the better value here. Generally, deep sockets are more expensive, and you get more variety with 20 total pieces. There might be better deals out there, though!

Thanks for the info! I’m new to all this, so what’s the difference with deep sockets? Is it just the shape of the sockets in the smaller set? What benefits do deep sockets have?
