I've been funding my tool collection by buying discounted kits and parting them out instead of just buying new ones. I'm pretty confident with battery pricing since they're almost like currency to me. However, I'm trying to gauge the value of some recent purchases that are outside my usual range. Here's what I picked up, and I'd love to hear what you think they're worth in your local market or if they're in demand:
- Compact Impact Wrench - DCF921
- Hammer Drill - DCD1007
- Fast Charger - DCB118 18V XR 8A
Any insights?

For the DCF921, I've seen prices between $110 and $130 around my area on Facebook Marketplace. It seems to be a solid pick!
Honestly, a lot of these tools are pretty niche in my market, so I usually see them going for about 50% of the retail price. Not much demand, but they do show up occasionally.
In my area, the DCF921s go for about $110-140, while the DCD1007s can hit $180-200 when sold as a bare tool. Haven't seen many 8A chargers floating around unless they're bundled with kits, so not sure on that one!

That's interesting! I’ve noticed some folks asking full retail here too, but I have my doubts about their sales. Are people really getting that money?
