What’s the Ideal Charge Current for My Series-connected LiFePo Batteries?

Hey folks, I'm feeling a bit scattered today and could use some help with a calculation. I have two 25.7V 200Ah LiFePo batteries connected in series, which gives me a total of 50.4V. The recommended charge current for each battery is 100A. My question is, should I stick with the 100A charge current for the series setup, or does that change since the voltage has increased?

When you connect two 25.7V LiFePo batteries in series, their voltages add up to 50.4V, but their Amp-hour (Ah) capacity stays the same at 200Ah. So, the recommended charge current of 100A remains the same for the entire system. However, it’s good practice to keep charging at 0.5C for longevity, which would be 100A in total for your setup. Be mindful that it’s better to charge slower if you can as it can help increase battery lifespan!
