What’s the Ideal Wait Time Between Spreading Compost and Planting?

Asked By Gard3nN00b On

I've recently bought some compost and I've been reading that I should wait at least three months before planting. I'm hoping to find out if that's always the case or if I can plant sooner. Any advice would be appreciated!

I usually plant almost immediately after spreading my compost! Since my compost is homemade and well-decomposed, I don’t feel the need to wait long. What type of compost did you get?

I got Evergreen Compost and Manure. That's good to hear!
