What’s the Lightest Non-Impact M12 Screwdriver?

I've been using the M12 hammer drill/driver, which works brilliantly, but it gets kind of heavy when I'm working over my head with a lot of screws. Plus, I really don't need the hammer function at all. I've come across some super small 1/4" hex drivers, but they're all impacts. I'm looking for something non-impact that still has a clutch so I won't damage what I'm working on. I'm not really interested in the installation driver since it feels too bulky for my needs. Does Milwaukee offer a compact, lightweight non-impact screwdriver?

You might want to check out the Milwaukee M12 12V Lithium-Ion Cordless 1/4 in. Hex Screwdriver (model 2401-20). It's super compact and perfect for tasks where you need to be gentle and precise. I’ve been using it for a while, and it’s been great for the lighter jobs where I don’t want to risk breaking anything.

If you’re after a small, electric option, consider the M4 electric screwdriver. It’s surprisingly handy for most jobs and really changes the game! Just keep in mind some people find it a bit underpowered compared to heavier tools.

Haha, I get it! The M12s are designed for that combination of power and compactness, but the weight can catch up with you when you're working overhead. If you're needing something lighter, the installation driver is an option, but not everyone's cup of tea. Also, be sure to grab lighter batteries like the 2.0Ah or 2.5Ah options; they help make a difference!
