I'm curious about the kinds of houseplants that would be considered really lame or thoughtless gifts. What are some plants you think would actually annoy you if someone gave them to you, without any judgment here?

I’m also not a fan of huge plants that need a ton of light indoors. Give me something small and easy to care for any day!
Honestly, the worst plant gift would probably be something thoughtless like a dyed orchid. I mean, I'd just prefer a gift card to a plant store over that any day!
I feel you on that! Anything infested with bugs would drive me crazy. I had to deal with mealybugs on my orchids once, and it was a nightmare!
Yikes! I can only imagine. Definitely a good reason to avoid any bug-infested gifts.
For real! A gift card allows you to pick something you actually want.
