I've noticed that the standard width for exterior doors is usually around 36 inches, but my own door is only 32 inches wide. I'm curious to hear from others about how narrow they have seen exterior doors—what's the narrowest one you've come across?

The narrowest exterior door I've come across is a 30-inch door. Doors that are 32, 34, and 36 inches wide are definitely the most common. But honestly, the bigger the door, the better it is for moving things in and out, especially when you're dealing with appliances!

I feel you on that! I've always had 36-inch doors in my places, and I remember struggling with this big, fluffy sofa that just barely squeezed through my first house's door. It's a pain at times!
