I just had about 800 sqft of new hardwood flooring installed, and I've noticed a tiny, but noticeable, imperfection on one of the boards. It's really bothering me, and I'm curious if this is just an aesthetic issue or if I should be concerned about it. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

There's a chance there was a nail embedded in the wood when it was cut. It looks like a piece of metal that got past the quality check. It’s worth checking out but not something to panic about right away!
That looks like it could be a staple that was sanded down or maybe a bent nail. I think it might have happened because that part of the floor was a bit springy, and someone tried to fix it without you noticing. You might just have to live with it, unless it really bothers you!
Thanks for the response! So should I just live with it? Will the "fix" (if possible at all) be worth it?
If a magnet sticks to it, then you're likely looking at a nail or staple. If it doesn’t, you might have an unwanted souvenir! Since it sticks, it should be safe, but definitely keep an eye on it.
Thankfully, a magnet sticks to it!

Interesting! Didn't know that was possible. Is this something I should worry about?
