What’s this plant I found? Dandelion lookalike or something else?

I came across this plant in my garden recently and I'm really stumped on what it is. It popped up out of nowhere over the past month, and I have no clue if it's beneficial or a weed. The leaves look similar to those of a purple dandelion, and it's driving me nuts not knowing what to do with it. I would love some help with its identification! I also forgot to attach the photo in my original post, but it's in the comments now.

Bingo! It's definitely Wall Lettuce! This plant belongs to the dandelion family, and it's totally a friend. I'm so glad you figured it out. I totally get the anxiety of not knowing if you’re moving something that could take over your garden!

Hey! Do you have a picture of it? It might be sow thistle instead. Just a thought!

It's purple, so it doesn't really match up with the sow thistle photos I found. I checked out some dandelion lookalikes, though. Thanks for the suggestion!

According to ObsIdentify, it is indeed Wall Lettuce. You're all set! Don't worry about it choking your other plants; it’s a good addition!
