I'm hearing a really weird sound from my attic that's hard to describe. It's almost like a high-pitched noise, kind of similar to the sound you get from a loose cap on a fizzy drink, or maybe a radio frequency. It echoed through the house, and even though I checked outside, I couldn't find where it was coming from. I thought it was the attic since it was so loud, but whatever it was has stopped now. I just want to know what it could have been! Do I need to call a priest, a plumber, or maybe it's just something else? I recorded a short clip for context. Thanks!

Sounds like it could be related to your HVAC system. Have you thought about turning off your heating or cooling? Sometimes leaky ducts or a faulty plenum can create strange noises. Since you mentioned nothing else was on, it might be worth checking that out!
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll definitely check that out. It’s just so strange since everything was off!

Yeah, I totally agree! If it stops when you turn off the HVAC, that’s a strong sign it could be a duct issue.
