Hey everyone! This is my first attempt at growing jalapeños, and I've noticed that some of them are turning black. Is this normal? Can I still use them in my cooking? I'm pretty new to gardening, so any insights would be greatly appreciated!

It’s just a sign that they’re ripe! Most jalapeños are picked while still green so they can produce more, but if they’re turning black, it means they’re maturing. Glad to hear they're not going bad!
Hey! That black color you’re seeing is usually normal for jalapeños as they ripen. It doesn’t mean they’re bad! You should still be able to use them just fine, so don’t sweat it!
