What’s Wrong with My Tomato Seedlings?

I've noticed that my tomato seedlings are developing brown tips and curling upwards. A lot of them have brown spots on the edges or in the middle of the leaves. I'm not sure what the issue could be since I've only used fish fertilizer, and that was done sparingly. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

I'd suggest checking the watering schedule first. Overwatering can lead to root problems and cause leaf issues like you're describing. Make sure the soil has good drainage so the roots aren’t sitting in water. A pic of the leaves would be super helpful too—just to get a better visual on what's happening!

I agree with everyone here! Leaf curl can also be a reaction to temperature fluctuations. If it's been really hot or if you've had drafty conditions, that might stress your plants. Just keep an eye on them!

It sounds like your seedlings might be facing a couple of potential issues. Brown spots and curling leaves can often indicate problems like overwatering, nutrient deficiencies, or even pests. Since you mentioned using fish fertilizer, it's worth checking if the soil might be too high in nitrogen which can cause leaf curl. Make sure your plants are getting enough light too, as that can lead to stress. Posting a picture like others suggested could really help get more specific advice!

Yeah, and also look out for any signs of pests! Sometimes little bugs can cause leaf damage without you even noticing at first.
