I just started my journey as a union millwright and am in the market for some new tools. It's important for me to choose tools that come with a good warranty. I'm curious about how Milwaukee's warranty has worked out for others and whether brands like Tekton or DeWalt might be better options. Thanks in advance for your insights!

I've had some ups and downs with Milwaukee tools. Their warranty can be solid, but I've heard of some battery-operated tools being denied due to moisture damage. I've never gotten moisture inside my hand tools, but it’s worth considering if that’s a common issue. I usually stick to their hand tools because the warranty is pretty comprehensive overall. Just be careful with the battery stuff, especially if you’re in a humid environment!
Moisture inside hand tools sounds weird. I mean, how does that even happen? I thought they were made to handle some tough conditions. Is it just the battery tools that have the issue?
