What’s Your Go-To Soil Mix for Cacti and Succulents?

I'm experimenting with a new soil mix for my cacti and succulents because the current mix—Miracle Grow soil, perlite, and Coco coir—is holding too much moisture. I'm considering a combination of bonsai mix, worm castings, and Coco coir. Has anyone tried this mix or have tips to make it better?

I'm not big on DIY soil mixes; I prefer ready-made soil. Here’s a pic of the one I'm using right now—it’s been great! Just find something with good drainage and you should be set!

That looks good! I like using pre-mixed soils too for the convenience. Have you had any issues with it retaining too much moisture?

For my cacti and succulents, I use a 50/50 mix of cactus potting soil and perlite, and they thrive! I've also tried mixes with pumice and coco peat at an 80/20 ratio. It's worked pretty well for me, maybe give it a shot!
